The ADR and Mediation group at Harrison & Moberly has a broad range of mediation and ADR experience.
A certified Civil Mediator, Patricia Polis McCrory is the sole member and owner of Mediation Roundtable LLC. Mediation Roundtable is a Woman Owned Business. As such, Mrs. McCrory and Roundtable are unequally qualified to meet the needs of public or other entities who desire to use the services of a woman-owned enterprise. Prior to achieving her certification, Mrs. McCrory mediated cases by agreement in the Marion County “Settlement Week” program, achieving a very high rate of resolution.
As a practicing attorney, she has concentrated her practice in the areas of complex litigation matters including environmental and intellectual property disputes, trade dress infringement, director and officer liability, and lender liability. She prides herself on being able to assist the parties in reaching a solution to their litigation issues.
Other mediators within the ADR group include William J. Hancock. “Jay” Hancock is a Certified Civil Mediator who, over the years, has done a hundred or so mediations – mostly in the area of construction disputes. He has also been a “neutral” in construction disputes with the American Arbitration Association. He brings a unique style and years of experience in the construction industry to the cases he mediates.
Rory O’Bryan and David Theising bring years of experience in the area of commercial property disputes to their mediations. Rory has a long history representing property owners and building managers with their disputes. Their combined experience includes complex legal issues involving liens, priority issues, co-borrowers, guarantor claims, eminent domain and foreclosure issues, as well as receiverships and bankruptcy.
