Harrison & Moberly attorney David Theising has been invited to speak at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association Forum on Construction Law. The Annual Meeting is scheduled to be held April 21-24, 2021 in New York City, and is titled “The In-House Counsel Summit: Shining a Light on the Construction Issues Keeping In-House Counsel Up at Night.” Mr. Theising, who is a member of Harrison & Moberly’s Construction Law Practice Group and chairs the firm’s Bankruptcy and Debtor-Creditor Relations Practice Group, will be speaking with Marilyn Klinger of Los Angeles, California on “Protecting Your Client’s Rights to Payment and Performance in the Bankruptcy Context.”
The Forum is the largest organization of construction lawyers in the world, and its Annual Meeting draws hundreds of construction lawyers from across North America for three days of business meetings, advanced construction law education, and professional development. Mr. Theising is a past member of the Forum’s Governing Board, a past chair of the Construction & Surety Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association, and represents clients in commercial, construction, and bankruptcy matters in state and federal courts across the country.
