The 10th Annual Starkey Entrepreneurial Woman Award Breakfast was held on May 10, 2013, and Tina McIntosh, President & CEO of Joy’s House won this year’s SEWA Award. The SEWA Award is hosted by the law firm of Harrison & Moberly, LLP and Indianapolis Monthly magazine and is given each year to a female business owner, who has exhibited courage, tenacity and selflessness in starting and running her own business.
Harrison & Moberly also gives a Starkey Entrepreneurial Spirit Award to individuals who have exhibited courage, tenacity and selflessness in an endeavor (not necessarily a business). This year’s Male Spirit Award Winner is Jay Ruckelshaus and Female Spirit Award Winner is Margie Hiestand.
