Harrison & Moberly has been notified that our firm will be listed in the December 2011 edition of Fortune magazine as a top rated law firm for the year 2012. This honor comes to us as a result of the fact that over one third of our lawyers are the recipients of so called AV ratings from Martindale Hubbell, the nation’s best known publication that lists and rates American lawyers. The AV rating takes into account both the professional skills and the ethical conduct of lawyers, and the AV rating is the highest that a lawyer can achieve. The process also does not allow for lawyers to rate other lawyers in their own firm, and thus the AV rating is earned by virtue of the admiration and respect of other attorneys, who periodically rate their counterparts in these areas. The Martindale Hubbell ratings are widely published and available to consumers and lawyers alike. Only 965 law firms in the United States are receiving this recognition for the year 2012.
