Harrison & Moberly’s Associate attorneys took the initiative this holiday season to organize some of the firm’s charitable activities. The Associate attorneys devised a plan to “charge” admission to the firm’s office holiday party. Each attorney and staff member is required to donate canned food before he or she can attend the office’s holiday festivities. All of the canned food collected will be donated to the Gleaners Food Bank.
H&M’s Associate attorneys also decided that the firm would participate in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Toy Drive. H&M’s staff members were encouraged to participate, but each attorney was required to participate in order to attend the firm’s annual attorney holiday dinner. The Angel Tree Toy Drive is the Salvation Army’s campaign to collect and distribute toys, which provide Christmas presents to children who would otherwise go without. Last year’s Angel Tree Toy Drive was very successful collecting 7,778 toys and serving 2,063 children and 783 families. H&M’s Associate attorneys have volunteered to assist with the distribution of toys at the Salvation Army’s Toy Shop at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on December 20.
H&M’s Partners wholeheartedly support these charitable efforts and commend the Associate attorneys for taking the initiative to organize and give back to the community.
