On Friday, May 8, 2014, Harrison & Moberly and Marti Starkey, Chair of the Trust & Estate Practice Group, hosted the 11th Annual Starkey Entrepreneurial Woman Award. The annual award is given to an Indiana female entrepreneur who has who has exhibited courage, tenacity and selflessness in starting and running her own business. Deborah Wood, owner of DWA Healthcare Communications Group, won the 2014 Starkey Entrepreneurial Woman Award. First Place Runner Up was Martha Hoover, owner of Patachou Inc., and the Second Place Runner Up was Darlene Mezzetta, CEO of Mezzetta Construction Services.
Justice Debra Lehrmann of the Texas Supreme Court was the keynote speaker.
