Harrison & Moberly attorney David J. Theising has been elected to a three-year term on the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry. With well over 5,000 members worldwide, the Forum is the largest organization of construction lawyers in the world, and is governed by the 15-member Governing Committee to which Theising was elected. Theising was nominated in January at the Forum’s Midwinter Meeting in the Bahamas, and was unanimously elected at the Forum’s Annual Meeting in New Orleans in April. He is a past chair of the Forum’s Division on Insurance, Surety & Liens, a past chair of the Indiana State Bar Association Section on Construction & Surety Law, and has authored numerous book chapters and published articles on construction and government contracts law.
